Teri Raffel
Teri, an all-American in college track and field, went to work as an investment banker after graduation. She took a break from her career to give life as a stay-at-home mom a try. When the youngest of her children was seven, she went back to work in admissions at a private girls’ school in Palo Alto. She spent her first four years as a resident scholar in Mather picking up a master’s degree in early child education and teaching kindergarten. She’s now shuttling back and forth between Mather and the Bay Area where she’s director of admissions at a K-8 school for gifted children. She and her husband Keith have been married for 36 years and celebrated the birth of their first grandchild in 2022.
