Hi Mather! I grew up in southern California before moving to the East Coast for college. After graduating from Harvard in 2019, I spent several years living in Scotland and England for an MPhil on a Marshall Scholarship, and have since returned to Cambridge to do a PhD in the History Department. Here I work on ancient writing systems, the global history of Latin America, and various digital humanities projects. Outside of the library, I'm an avid runner, golfer, and soccer player, though I grew up playing all types of sports and am excited to be an IM lead this year! Let me know if you have any questions about combining STEM and Humanities/Social Sciences at Harvard, fellowships, study abroad, learning new languages, or would just like to chat — I look forward to it!
