I’m Kathy and so excited to join the Mather community as a resident tutor! I’m a PhD student in Materials Science & Mechanical Engineering designing smart materials. Prior, I received my B.S. from Stanford in Materials Science & Engineering and lived in the Netherlands, creating light-driven artificial muscles as a Fulbright Research Fellow. I grew up in the beautiful mountains near Salt Lake City, Utah and love skiing, dancing, fragrance science, and spending time with great people.
