Catherine Shapiro

Dear Matherites: My name is Catherine. I live on the first floor with my ginger and white cat, Frankie. (You might see Frankie hanging out in one of the windows to the left as you enter Mather.) I was a economics and political science major at Rice, got my PhD in Political Science, and taught in the Government Department at Dartmouth College. I have been both a Resident Dean in Leverett House and for Crimson Yard. Don't let the social science degrees fool you -- I also love discussing science and humanities topics. I am a lousy athlete and musician, but a great (modesty alert) audience member, so please invite me to your plays, spoken words, musical performances, meets, games,etc. I have a new board game called Princes of Florence, so let me know if you would like to play.
