Previous degrees: BA in Sociology and African American Studies, Brandeis University
Current Work: PhD student in Sociology, University of California, Berkeley

I am a doctoral student in sociology from Pensacola – a beachside town in the Florida Panhandle. I study the relationship between segregation and mortality during the early twentieth century U.S. I attended undergrad a few miles down the river at Brandeis University. Before joining Mather, I worked at a social impact startup based NYC training scholars how to write for public audiences. I like to laugh to relieve stress. Some of my favorite things to do outside of work are listen to podcasts, attend comedy shows and watch RuPaul’s Drag Race.
