I’m Joa, a doctoral student in the Organizational Behavior unit at HBS. I was previously at Harvard for college and a master’s, and am excited to be back for this new chapter in business academia. I have academic and work experience in research, business, nonprofits, and international/East Asian affairs—including at the Korean Embassy in D.C. and the Asia Society Policy Institute—and welcome speaking with anyone interested in a particular sector or exploring different career paths. My previous studies and interests have taken me to Korea and China on multiple occasions to study, volunteer, and teach, so happy to chat about the study abroad experience as well.
