As an Ottawa native, I grew up skating and skiing through the Canadian winter months. After graduating with a master's degree in education at the University of Bath, I began a 30-year career in international and private schools. I have a passion for education innovation and fostering positive change in education settings. I have lived and worked in diverse locations including Lesotho, Uganda, Bangladesh, Myanmar, India, the UK, Mozambique, Jordan and the United States. Currently, I serve as the Assistant Head of School at the Greenwich Country Day School.

I have an empathic belief in a child's ability to have a powerful impact on the world and the responsibility they hold to advocate for children's rights as global citizens. I spend my time cooking, baking, reading, and petting our dog Moose while Facetiming with our two children, Meghan and Charlie, who are both studying at universities in Canada. I love to explore new cities and hope we can have some adventures together over the coming year!
