Hello Mather! My name is Daniel and I am very excited to join the tutoring team alongside my partner Sara. I am originally from Colombia, where I spent most of my childhood and early teenage years. I moved to Florida from Colombia in 2014, and then I went to New York for college in 2017. I studied computer engineering for my undergrad at Columbia University. During my last year at Columbia, I also worked part-time for Intel as a Machine Learning Engineer. I am currently pursuing a PhD in Computer Science here at Harvard, where I have just finished my fourth year. My research focuses mostly on developing model-based Reinforcement Learning algorithms for more efficient robotic task allocation. Besides my work at the lab, I really enjoy training Muay Thai, assembling and painting miniatures, and the outdoors (fishing, kayaking, hiking). I look forward to a great year with all of you!
