**Duties:** Arts, Religion, Spirituality, Ethics, and Tradition

Hi Mather! I am a process artist, religious studies scholar, and director of the arts and culture collective MIPSTERZ. For over a decade, I have mentored young artists from various cultural backgrounds and degrees of religiosity in helping them actualize their creative vision. Our work has been featured in the Carnegie Hall, Kennedy Performing Arts Center, The SHED, and Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian Museum of Design—to name a few. I come to the arts from my religious studies and philosophy background. While at UNC and UPenn, I was introduced to multi-sensory ways ​​to communicate dense and complex information. While the arts have been one outlet, I have also published several papers on religious perspectives on bioethical issues, global and racial justice, and Islamic ethics.
